Clicking "Export as vcard" in contacts doing nothing

Hi,

I'm changing phones soon so I'm trying to export my iCloud contacts into a vcard. I followed the instructions, went onto icloud.com, logged in, selected all contacts, and clicked export as vcard. After clicking there was a very short "waiting for icloud.com..." message on my browser and then.... nothing. No vcard was downloaded. I waited for several minutes and nothing happened. I've tried again a few times, I've tried disabling all my addons and enabling every script and ad, and still nothing.

I've tried exporting just one contact to see if the problem was trying to export every contact at once, but that didn't work either. There's no error message or anything, just, nothing happens.

I'm using Google Chrome 40.0.2214.85 on a Windows 8.1 convertible laptop (Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro). My iPhone is an iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1.2 (since it isn't supported by iOS 8)

I have the same problem using PC with Win8.1 via Chrome - at bottom of the screen I can see "waiting for courier.push.apple.com..." displayed for a couple of second,s then nothing happens. Tried restarting PC and iCloud over a couple of days, but not working. Tried the "import" and that seems to work ok, but didn't actually follow it through..

I have successfully used the export facility many times before (last time was January 18th 2015) - something seems to have gone wrong either through Win or Apple iOS updates!!

Have just tested further using same Win8.1 PC with three browsers: Chrome, Firefox & IE11.

Contacts export facility worked fine using IE11 and Firefox but still not working with Chrome - seems to be a compatibility issue with Google system!!

Browser versions tested:

Chrome 40.0.2214.111m - contacts fail to export

Firefox 35.0.1 - contacts successfully exported

IE11 11.0.16 - contacts successfully exported

The problem hasn't been solved. I'm trying and I'm unable to download vCard from IE, Google Chrome. I can download the file on iCould by using Firefox but it's useless because when I choose many contacts once and click on "Export vCard", the download window pops up but it shows that only the first choice of the groups I had chosen is downloaded, other contacts disappear. If I want to take all the contacts, I need to download each of them individually and it consumes more time than I import the contacts manually.

Is there any suggestion for this issue?

Thanks!
