I'm using Pages 5.5.2 and I need to view pages side by side and also compare the content of pages by using a split screen - just like I can do in Word. Any help?

You can view facing pages in Pages '09.This is missing in Pages 5.5.2 along with 100 other features.
No version of of Pages has split screen. Try LibreOffice [free]

Thanks, Peter. I have to ask whether Apple is serious about having a word processing program. For someone who spends a lot of time writing long documents, it is very frustrating. Who do they have in mind when they decide on not having what I would call basic features such as these? Rhetorical, I know, but a result of my frustration! They probably want me to have small files and open them up separately.

Apple is very customer focused.
Who that particular customer is, and whether they are actually using a Mac, we have not been able to discover.
