Country lock.

Hello..🙂 I'm from sri lanka. I imported an apple 6 plus (128GB, ios 8.0.2) mobile phone from japan ( Docomo ). I can't use it here 😟 If i unlocked IMEI code can i use it in sri lanka?

You wasted your money so return it. Only the wireless carrier to which the phone is locked to can authorize the unlock, and no Japanese carriers will unlock phones.

and it's not a country lock it's a carrier lock if you bought it in japan and wanted to use another sim card you would be facing the same issue
