MB466LL/A and Mavericks?

Hello. I've got a MacBook, purchased new from Best Buy in June 2009. I was running 10.5.8 until today (hard to believe, I know), successfully upgraded to 10.6.8 without any problems. My system specs are posted below (though removed the serial number and parts of the Hardware UUID). My question(s) are: Can this system support Mavericks? I've looked at Yosemite and it's essentially just iOS for MacBooks - Not appealing.

If Mavericks *isn't* supported, which is the newest version of OSX that this computer will support?

Model Name: MacBook

Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo

Processor Speed: 2 GHz

Total Number Of Cores: 2

L2 Cache: 3 MB

Boot ROM Version: MB51.007D.B03

SMC Version (system): 1.40f2

Serial Number (system): ***********

Hardware UUID: 17143F4B-***7-5D0D-B624-2****F1****5

Sudden Motion Sensor:

State: Enabled

I've still got the original box, the stickers on it say the Model number is: A1278

and the Part number is: MB466LL/A.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks much in advance
