I use my ipod Nano (4th gen) primarily for mp3 files, but have a few videos. I have no pictures on it, but I just checked in iTunes and it says I have 2.1 GB of Photos and a whopping 7.3 GB of my total 15 GB registering as 'Other' - how can I get rid of these mystery files?

Thanks. I would prefer not having to totally restore my iPod, if possible, since I would lose music and other audios that I have on my iPod but lost on my computer in a hard drive failure. Also, I am manually updating my iPod and have never used the sync feature to add music, videos or other files.
That said, when I plug it into my computer, it does say it is syncing...
Is restore my only option?

Connect it to your computer and Restore it in iTunes. Sounds like you are syncing some corrupt files.
You could use 3rd party software, such as TouchCopy, and try to manually delete the other storage. No guarantees it will work.
