Dear reader,
I have a dr. dre beats wireless headphone and the head band is broken near the hinge. I wonder if you could replace this plastic cover that holds the metal band?
Many thanks,
Bas Bakker
PS: I hope it can at the Genius Bar: I would like to make an appointment.

I took my broken headphones to an Apple Store and asked if they can fix it... First of all the guy had no idea and manners! He didn't even know the type of my headphones!!! He told me to buy a new one because the repair will cost the same.. I asked him why but he couldn't provide me any answer since he had no clue!!
It's a shame!! I've been a very loyal customer to apple, and have all their products!! The way they responded was very unprofessional and made me to think twice next time buying an apple product!
I just took mine in. After Best Buy, where I bought them, telling me they would've repaired them if it weren't for Apple buying them out and having to go through them. Of course I knew this was bad news for me considering they jump through hoops to make sure they're not helping they're customers. The women than helped me was rude from the beginning and very condescending. After saying it's out of they're hands to repair she offered me a replacement plan. Trade them in and buy a new pair full price. Hahahahah oh good old Apple. No more beats for me and on the edge of switching over to the surface books. For a company that makes ridiculous profit off their customers, they really don't like to look out for them
Yes they do. My beats solo 2 wireless wouldn’t turn on so they next day aired me an empty box with a return label. I put my beats and sent it back. Within 5 days they sent me BRAND NEW ONES!! They have great customer service. Just Apple in general, just keep in mind it has to be under warranty for them to repair or replace your headphones
Having the same issue with my Solo2 headphones. The right side doesn't work while in Bluetooth mode, but works fine when using the 3.5mm cable. Sounds like it might be a common issue? I hope they don't send another Solo2 piece of junk just to have it fail again! Not sure if the Solo3 has a better design to remedy the flaw or not. Paying $300 for a set of headphones that lasts a year almost to the date is BS!! What if it had happened a few days after the warranty date?? They would've told you to pay MORE money to fix a problem that will inevitably happen again that's what, unless they've corrected the cause if it somehow.
I'm not buying these the Beats brand again, I'll stick with Bose, especially now that I'm a dealer for them.
Usually they don't repair the headphones, they offer a trade in of sorts for a new pair. For example [Solo2 right side not working] they say it would be $100 to get that issue figured out but they send you a new pair and you send your pair to them. In the past I got my headphones fixed my a company online. They did me good. Joe's Gaming & Electronics got them fixed for almost half of that price.
Apple just purchased that company last year and started to offer repair service - it is quite possible that the employee was not aware of any of that:
And here are the warranty and repair/service options:
Solo2 - right side headphone - no sound
Hello fellow writer,
I have actually just submitted a request for this, they're still under warranty haven't even had them for 4 months, right headphone side stopped working, left side still sounds brand new, they didn't ask me for anything money wise, they just advised me that ill have a box for my old ones and ill have new ones out within two after they receive mine.
Really hoping this is as good as it sounds. I'm an hard set android lover and always have been, apple if your support is as good as it sounds. you just might have a new fan for life!
Really hoping this turns out in my favor, I cant afford the 100$ repair bill; as its not a result of something I did.
Take care of me apple.
<3
As long as they are still under warranty you should be good. They sent me a box, I took forever sending them back because I'm lazy, but when I finally did send them off apple recieved them the next day and had brand new headphones the next two days. You just got to have proof of purchase
I just took my Beats in to the local Apple Store for warranty repair - not a great experience. The headphone are sent off to a repair facility apparently for a repair/replace decision. I was told at the Genius Bar that repairs should take a week but, its been two weeks now, and I've had to call the store twice for a status. Evidently, my headphones will be replaced but the store doesn't have "these" headphones in stock so that will take another week or so.
Very disappointing service posture - this sort of non-committal response to warranty service is why I switched from Dell to Apple but it doesn't seem to have been a good decision in the case of Beats.
Yes, yes they do i brought my beats mixrs to get repaired them they will take them and give the headphones to you in 5 business days or at least that is what they did for me
They will because apple now owns beats so they have to responsibility to fix them
Got mine fixed by JoesGE. They have over 100 5 star feedback.
Quick question, how did you go about your issue, as in you visited an Apple Store or did you contact them via email?
