Logic Remote Sees My Computer but Won't Connect

Hello,

I've tried connecting the Logic Remote app on my iPad mini (v1.2) to Logic Pro X (v10.1) on my iMac and it refuses to connect. The logic remote app shows the option to select my computer but yet it won't actually connect. I've tried on both wifi and bluetooth.

I tried deleting the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file and restarting the computer...but that didn't work. I reinstalled the logic remote and restarted my iPad and that also didn't work. I am not running a firewall on my computer or router, so there should be no issue there.

Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

Logic Pro X 10.1

Try the Ad Hoc method then.. to help eliminate your BT router as thats one of the ones I have seen reported as having issues with certain apps...connecting to Macs...

Soundgrid.... You need to fully uninstall all the Waves plugins using their uninstaller and then reinstall deselecting the soundgrid during the reinstall..

NI = https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/knowledge-base/show/413/how-to-uni nstall-native-instruments-software-and-drivers-from-a-mac-os-x-computer/

Note: I dont believe the NI driver has anything to do with your current issue.. I just mentioned it for general clean up of your Mac.....

Startup items are obsolete in OS X Yosemite

[running] com.dolby.dolbymediaencoder.plist

[running] com.line6.l6ksettingmgr.plist

[running] com.waves.daemon.SoundGridProtocolService.plist

I Didn't because it made no difference to the other guy you suggested it too

and I figured that instead of learning what an ad hoc is it would be easier just to take iMac and iPad to my parents house and try it on a different router

I Will try it when my stress levels calm down though, probably tomorrow

i did notice when logic Is starting the loading banner says "EuCon init finished" during logic start up

Not really sure what that is or if it could be causing this

did get pop asking my to connect iPad to logic once in that 3 hours

and it did connect but like Bluetooth it didn't control logic faders pinging back ect

IS there a way to reset my wifi so I can use the Internet?
