My ipod touch 5G battery stays at 100% even after I would use it for web browsing, email etc and it would stay there for an hour. I'm assuming this is a calibration issue. I've had this ipod for since Christmas. I'm getting at least 5 hours for wifi-related tasks. I have also fully charged it several times since. Anybody running into this issue? Should I take it to an Apple Store?
I would hardly say it was an issue if you are getting longer battery life but I recommend taking it to apple. Or do a reset by holding down the Power and Home buttons for about 15 secs or until apple logo appears. No data will be lost.

Have you let the battery full discharge (auto shutdown) and then charge? That calibrates the indicator. Yu are using the Apple indicator, not a third-party app? % battery on an iPod is not accurate.
Yes I have done that a few times already. I started to charge it right before it died because fully killing it didn't help too much. I know its not accurate but it shouldn't stay at or near 100% for that long.
% battery is not accurate. If you get satisfactory battery life then there is nothing wrong with our iPod
