iphone 5 data not working on metro pcs

I recently switched 2 verizon iphone 5's to metro pcs, my calling and texting works just fine, however anything that requires data doesn't work. Such as the internet, location services, imessage, face time, and certain apps. I've tried taking out my sim card and reinserting it, putting the phone on airplane mode, and turning the phone on and off a few times still no data. My reception is really good I almost have full bars everywhere I go and it says 4g next to it. Has anyone else had this problem. My phone is currently running on ios 7.1.2. Any ideas or suggestions for this problem would be great!

Thanks!

If none of that is working, then the settings are not correct. I'm guessing here, but you verified these settings with Metro? They are the only ones that can verify your account and your devices use of their network. If you have cellular data turned on, and you have a Metro PCS carrier file, or other profile on your device, it should work. But only Metro can verify your APN settings for using their data. That is one of the drawbacks for using MVNOs.

I was also having issues with my iPhone with MetroPCS. For the APN setting for MMS, is it set to Tmus? If so, that is incorrect. It is suppose to be the same APN for Cellular Data. Which is fast.t-mobile.com. Once I put that for the MMS setting, my picture messages started sending. Also for Enable LTE settings, set it to Data Only. I noticed when it was set to Voice and Data, I had issues switching from Wi-fi back to LTE. Hopefully this will help you out.
