Is anyone else experiencing battery life issues due to iOS 8.1.3?

I know this may seem ridiculous but after having updated my iPhone 6, 64 GB to iOS 8.1.3, yesterday January 27, I noticed my battery isn't lasting anywhere near as long as it was before this.

Usually the way I use my phone by 5pm every evening, I have at least 65 - 70% battery life, today I'm at 44% and know for sure I've used it less than usual, which is why I came here.

I want to thank everyone who replies in advance.

Found this on the Apple insider site ..

There is a battery usage feature in IOS8

It can be found by OPening the Settings application and navigating to General, Usage, Battery Usage.

The list will take a second to populate before displaying a list of apps and how much energy they consumed.

Apps can be listed in terms of batter usage of the last 24 hours and over the last week.

In my case, having the mobiles working as what I see normal after my minor episode earlier in this thread, here are usage stats I took a bit earlier today:

iPhone 5 - idling with bluetooth, location services, push mail, background services etc turned on.

iPhone 5s - same as above

iPhone 6 Plus - same as above with some 1h or so driving with Waze on i.e. major battery consumption during that time.

With battery working as normal I get the around six hours or so mixed use with iPhone 5/5s whereas with iPhone 6+ I get bored trying to drain the battery fully and I rather end up just charging as normal about every night. Overall I have zero problems with iPhone 6+ mixed use for two or maybe even three days if I'm too lazy to charge.

i am also having this problem along with my iPhone 6 becoming hot while charging and moderate usage.

I Spoke with support this am via apples online chat they had me do a rest via iTunes (it took over a hour for the update to download) but I am still having a battery drain problem. I was at 100% and now at 91% and not even 10 minutes of use posting to this forum.

THis stinks before on 8.1.2 I had the wifi and bluetooth problems but my battery life was decent!

Anyone know how to go back to 8.1.2?

Yes, I did. Actually, I follow most of those recommendations, except I do close open apps on a regular basis and I have battery % displayed, which I am beginning to question. I ran my battery down to dead and then did a full recharge. Assuming another post might be onto something that the % indication may be incorrect. This seems to parallel your thinking with disabling the % meter. It does appear to be a little better. My thinking at the moment while this might be coincidental with the recent update. I am going to allow the battery to fully drain prior to recharging and see if my problems disappears as fast as it appeared, appears being the operative 😉

What's the battery life you get with your above mentioned settings? The usage and standby times.

And what do you use your iPhone for the most part everyday?

Just to let you know I'm not ignoring your question, I just have never bothered to check, as having over 50% at the end of most days was good enough, considering that with my iPhone 5S I was down below 10% at the end of the day with the same usage pattern, and I occasionally had to recharge with a supplemental battery pack to get through the day. I haven't had to do that with the iphone 6. Here's my info from yesterday, noting that I used Waze for part of the day, which is a huge battery hog. I normally plug in the phone when using Waze, but I didn't yesterday just to get this usage data:
