Thanks - I am trusting my body and so I am reading the print version of the NYTimes and using the computer to read other news sources. Myofascial release massage provides immediate relief that I don't get from the M.D.'s anti-inflammatory and opioid prescriptions.

You may not get the immediate release from medication that you do from massage, but that doesn't mean that your massage 'therapist' knows jack about medicine or science. Based on what they told you, your therapist is either a complete idiot or they have been so thoroughly sucked into the hocus pocus of BS that is 'alternative medicine' that there is no difference.

You want to go to them for pain relief, fine, but don't take anything they have to say as scientifically valid in any way.

It seems my post has gotten your kilt in a wad. His hypothesis and the relief is more than any health professional has provided.

But if you go to the dentist they will recommend using fluoride which will lower your IQ by 7 points.

I have no doubt that the relief is real. The hypothesis, on the other hand, is pure, unadulterated crap.

The damage is long since done. I grew up on fluoridated water. And I still have lots of dental problems.

Why is the hypothesis crap?

Remember the John Birch Society? I grew up in LA and they madly fought fluoridation hence the great line in that movie.

There is no controlled testing that has been done on the hypothesis and it isn't even remotely based upon science, in fact it is largely ignorant of scientific fact.

It is like the essential oils fad, the mother gives her child some oils when they have a sore throat and fever, after a few days the child gets better. A few of their friends do the same. And with this anecdotal evidence, and totally ignoring the immune system, they come to the conclusion that the oils cured their child. Even better than antibiotics. As a great person who posts here has often repeated, the plural of anecdote is not evidence.

Do you know the science of wifi, EMF, and geo-spatial data collection signals? Is there a reason those can not be absorbed in tissue?

Regardless of who is right or not the fact is you can't trust any system based on greed. Whether it be a cell phone company or a doctor prescribing promoted medications. We are ignorant of the effects of cell phone radiation but who knows what is good or bad. It is better to be safe than sorry. To really talk about this is very helpful but we are all just seeking advice and help. Any negative comments doesn't help anyone here.

Yes, there are reasons that is not possible and yes it has been scientifically tested.

No, we are not ignorant of effects of cell phone radiation. You may be but others are not. My doctor doesn't prescribe "promoted" medications.

No it is not helpful to talk about unproven theories that are not based in scientific fact and this is not the place to discuss them. There are many sites for people into this kind of pseudo science but this in not it. Posts here that don't agree with you are not "negative".

None of us would of actively sought out this message board if nothing was occurring to our hands when using the iPhone. Something is causing pain or tingling in my hands after i use the phone. I have never looked dup this problem with any other cell phone i have owned. So most of us here aren't claiming to know something we don't but we are aware of the fact that something different is occurring because of this phone use.

IF yo look at how many points you have by your name Deggie it means you are very active on this message board thing for Apple. You obviously do this for a job or entertainment. The rest of us have few points which means we are actually here seeking advice and help for this specific topic. Anyone else reading this must ask what agenda you are trying to pass here.
