iPhone 6 plus Hand pain after use

Has anyone else experienced hand pain after using the iPhone 6 Plus?

My husband and I both got new phones this month and I had the 4S while he had the 5 prior to now having these monster 6 Pluses. We both have experienced hand pain recently, we both think it's from the new phones. My wrists ache sometimes and my fingers will sometimes go numb after using the phone. I usually hold it with both hands and use my thumbs to text, if I'm playing a game I'll hold the phone with one hand and use the other to tap the screen. If I use my phone on my desk (not holding it, just having it in front of me, taping it with my fingers) I don't experience hand pain. I'm curious to see if anyone else out there has the same issues.

I agree. A couple people have posted that we have 14 days to return but I have been using my iphone6s for about 3-4 months and have been having issues for almost a month. I just realized, after process of illumination, that it's might be my phone. I'm not sure what's wrong with my hands but it's definitely my phone. I have even noticed a slight pain on the left side of my head when I start to talk on the phone. I recently bought a headset to try and stop the head pain. There is something happening with these phone whether it's the size or the energy. Its even hurting to type on a computer. I hoping that apple will let me exchange but I doubt I will be that lucky!

I was blaming the size of the iPhone Plus, but after an Xray I have got some fractures in my left wrist from a couple of falls. Holding the iPhone for long periods and using my thumb makes the pain worse.

Pain in the head could be due to migraines. I have also had that after excessive use of the computer and no breaks. It's difficult when it's your job. Looking at a small screen close up, all day can make your eyes sore, causing headaches. If you are going to talk on the phone use your earbuds, or have it on speaker mode and talk into the end.

I have the same problem with my middle finger and possibly my index finger now that I've been trying to use it more to give my middle finger a break when holding my iPhone 6 Plus. I'm thinking about putting it in a splint or something to allow it to heal faster and then train myself to use my phone differently. Did you post the results from your dr? Any tips to share?

I haven't went to the doctor yet. Only test they can do is an MRI or CT scan of which I don't have the money to spend on. I've owned apple products for the last ten years with no problem but this is the biggest phone I've owned. I called apple support to see if I could trade in but they said no. I think it's crappy that this so an ongoing issue across the board and they are not willing to try and make their customers happy. This problem is accross the board and I think they realize it since they have release an optional smaller size phone. I think it's probably tendinitis so I'm researching other phones and trying decide if I should make a switch. The only way to fix tendinitis is to limit use or discontinue use. I'm hoping a smaller phone will help my hands heal from the stress from the couple inches this phone adds. I don't think they will do anything until a class action suit begins. I'm sure that will be something that happens in the future. Good luck with your hands, from my experience, it only gets worse.

That reminds me of an old joke. A man sees another man looking around the base of a street light for his wallet. He offers to help. They find nothing. He asks, "Is this where you last saw it?" The other man replies, "No, I lost it down in that dark alley but it's too dark to see anything there.". In other words, looking for help in the wrong place because, for whatever reasons, you're unable to get the right sort of help, isn't going to do you any good.

I'm currently rehabbing from Achilles tendonitis so I know how rough it can be. However, it was diagnosed with an x-ray and a doctor's exam. The x-ray only ruled out other things. See your doctor and find out what they can do that might help that you can afford.

The good thing with Apple products is they do have a high resale value. You can't expect Apple to take it back if you have had the iPhone for several months and it's not faulty.

Trade up to an iPhone 7 and see if that helps. Also look at how you hold your phone and which fingers you're using to type and scroll.

Repetitive use of any object can cause problems. RSI is a known condition.

Fotomarc, I never said I wanted a full refund. 8 called to ask what my options were. As a customer of 15 years and never having a problem, you would think they would want to ensure customer satisfaction. Smaller, less successful companies do more for their customers. My phone does not have a single scratch on it and is in perfect condition. If your not having a similar problem than why r u commenting.
