iPhone 6 plus Hand pain after use

Has anyone else experienced hand pain after using the iPhone 6 Plus?

My husband and I both got new phones this month and I had the 4S while he had the 5 prior to now having these monster 6 Pluses. We both have experienced hand pain recently, we both think it's from the new phones. My wrists ache sometimes and my fingers will sometimes go numb after using the phone. I usually hold it with both hands and use my thumbs to text, if I'm playing a game I'll hold the phone with one hand and use the other to tap the screen. If I use my phone on my desk (not holding it, just having it in front of me, taping it with my fingers) I don't experience hand pain. I'm curious to see if anyone else out there has the same issues.

An update:

I tried to exchange my 6s for the cheaper SE and it turns out I'd actually have to fork out money--more if I did the trade at the Apple or AT&T stores, so I decided to sell it online and buy the SE outright. My 6s glass screen protector was chipped so I bought a plastic one like I'd always used before and, very strangely, the phone immediately became less painful to use. It wasn't completely pain free, but the sharp, intense tingling pain was gone. Now I'm wondering what the heck is in those glass screen protectors!? Probably kryptonite.😉

Totally serious. I'm using the 6s right now. Have the Tech Armor shield. The pain is gone. What's left is stiffness in my left hand which I assume comes from the larger size, but it's just an ache, not unbearable pain. If I were you, I'd get rid of that glass shield. I may still downsize to an SE if this ache keeps up.

I'm a wedding photographer and I've been noticing for this past few months that I'm getting increasingly worse my left and my right wrist especially near my thumb. I am guessing that I'm trying to text with one hand way too much with this huge phone. I was blaming it on my camera lenses being too heavy but I'm starting to reconsider. This really did begin shortly after I switched over to the 6S plus. My advice for anyone do not Text with one hand hold the phone with one hand and text with the other. I have started acupuncture treatment and KT tape is helping quite a bit.

I have noticed pain in my left hand since switching to the 6 plus. I'm sure it's due to the Weil of the phone, excess use and stretching the thumb further. I'm thinking of switching back to the smaller iPhone 7 model! I fell of an electric scateboard recently landing on my left wrist, to make matters worse! When Ouse the phone I try to use something to support it, such as my knee, or table.

Are you aware of the Reachability feature? If you touch (not tap or press) the Home button twice, the screen moves down, making it easier to reach the things at the top with your thumb.
