My 5S was Purchased in April 01,1978?

Where are you getting this information from?
Where are you getting this information from?
I got it from Imeidata.net. can i trust this website?
That information is from some third party website and not Apple, if you want to know why the information is wrong, ask them. I recommend not trusting that site.
And neither do I. It is telling you to get telephone support from imeidata.net. Don't you think you would rather get your telephone support from Apple? It also tells you the device was manufactured in September 2014, how could it be sold in 1978?
I've check my IMEI 3 Webs : Iunlocker, IMEI.info and imeidata.net and all result are same. could you suggest me any web what i can trust or give me some information about my 5S

p/s : im in vietnam.
Yes. www.apple.com. What is it that you are looking to find out. All of those IMEI checker websites are all 3rd party and just glean what data they can about a device. The only place to get accurate data about your device is from Apple, and a lot of it is available by going into Settings>General>About.
oh, I know that, thanks Chris, but I mean i want to know about active date, carrier, ... where can i check and trust it ?
We've already established that you cannot trust those websites - as in any information they give you. So it probably was not really manufactured in September 2014. It was probably manufactured in January 2014 or earlier since the warranty has expired.
OK, got it, thank you.
I know that I'm answering this late, but is it possible your device was sold "as is"?
Hello,
What is exactly an "as is" or ASIS iPhone? I have the same problem, the release and purchase dates of my iPhone 6 64Go is April 1st 1978... and the info comes from an Apple Store, and they told me the iPhone is ASIS... they can't do anything. The iPhone was working until iOS 9 update. It worked for one or two days, and then crashed... after that, when trying to restore it, via DFU mode, I had my screen flickering and/or with a bid red screen, or a big blue screen, or lines everywhere... And no, nothing comes up, only when i reconnect it to itunes, ans then the white apple logo on black screen appears, but iTunes is looking for the iPhone for a while and after displays error messages like 40, 4005, 4014, 2006, 9. The screen of the iPhone as been changed by a company called remadeinfrance.com
I thought the problem came from the screen, then I changed the screen to test, but nothing changed. Grrrr, please help!
Did you bother reading ANYTHING at all in this thread? No 3rd party has legitimate access to that information at all.
Your phone was tampered with by an unauthorized service provider. Your phone is unsupportable. Take it back to the company that replaced the screen. If they can't help you, buy a new phone. Apple won't touch that one under any circumstances and we can't help you.
Hi, I did read. People were just talking about 3rd parties websites where to check IMEI infos... I didn't see any info about the meaning of "as is". And, as the Apple Genius wasn't very sure about the meaning either, I am trying to find answers when I can.
I have contacted the company, I am still waiting for an answer. Thx for your reply.
I have the same problem here. My iphone 5C 32GB was purchased in the US, I contacted Apple support today and was told that my warranty is expired because it was purchased in 1978! What nonsense! I was asked invoice but do not!
