My webpage won't load fully no matter what browser I use (safari, chrome). I tried downloading the latest Java and that still doesn't work. I've also played around with turning extensions on and off but still nothing...
I've run into that when the web page (usually from Microsoft) is expecting to be loaded in Internet Explorer running in Windows, and your browsers are reporting that they're on a Mac. In Safari Preferences>Advanced, check Show Develop menu in menu bar, and then, in Develop>User Agent, pick one of the Internet Explorer options. If that's what's going on, you may still need to view the web page in IE on a PC or in Windows in a virtual machine or in Boot Camp.
Go step by step and test.
1. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Turn off Extensions if any and launch Safari again to test.
Turn on those one by one and test.
2. Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
3. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Turn off Extensions if any and launch Safari again to test.
I have no extensions anyway but I tried it and still nothing. Also cleared caches. When I chose different IE options it just changed the layout of the whole thing but still would not display. I am trying to download my school's free Microsoft office for mac so I know there has to be a way to view it.
