Can't hear the earpiece in incoming call for iPhone 5

most of the time im unable to hear the earpiece when I recieve a incoming call..

iPhone 5, iOS 8.1

See if this support document helps. If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound quality is poor on iPhone - Apple Support
