I'm also seeing this problem sending email from gmail to icloud.

Yes, I have also had this same problem three times (that I know of) over the past few weeks, all with people sending from gmail.

I've been getting the same thing on every message that my Gmail account tries to forward to my me.com address. Would love to know what's going on.

A friend of mine, (also on Gmail) has been getting the same error message but with a 'Delay' Notification: Weirdly only messages from him are delayed (by about 18 hours) when it's a group email (three people). If he sends me a direct email, I'm getting them almost immediately.

I called Apple. They checked things on my iMac. Passed me to higher support. They blew me off said not aware of any such problems. Must be a problem with your recipients me.com setup. Apple Server Status says all is well of course.

OK, now multiple emails from @gmail.com addresses to my @me.com address are being delayed or deleted without notice. Preparing to ditch icloud email altogether unless this is acknowledged by Apple.

this just started with my .mac account. Someone with a gmail couldn't email me. But it only happens when she is on her laptop right on gmail. Emails come through from her phone with the same account. And other gmail people can email me. I have found no solutions online yet.

Did anybody find a solution to this? My friend and I both are having the same problem which is making our jobs almost impossible. Is there anyone to call who can help? I feel like it has to be an me.com problem as opposed to a gmail problem but what do I know?

...same problem here, massive since 2 days, emails forwarded from gmail are delayed many hours. Error message:

"451 4.5.3 Too many rejections; try again later.".

And some other emails were delayed as well, others not...no pattern in this.
