iCal not syncing with Exchange calender in OS X 10.10.2

iCal is not syncing with an Exchange-based calendar with the OSX 10.10.2 update on my 2012 Macbook Air.

Any calendar events added since the software update are not replicated to the main Exchange account, nor are new events made in other calendar programs replicated back to iCal. This includes calendar events made on the Apple Calendar app on an iPhone 6/iOS 8.1. iCal shows events made before the software update, just none after. Google Apps-based calendars in iCal are not effected, only Exchange-based ones.

I have deleted and re-authorized the Exchange calendar in the Calendar applications on the Mac and the iPhone, and this problem still exists. My workaround is to abandon iCal and to use BusyCal 2 for OSX, which does sync with the Exchange-based calendar. BusyCal 2 does sync with iPhone Calendar, so the issue is specifically iCal in 10.10.2

1. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

2. Does anyone have a potential solution?

Thanks in advance,

Wayan

After multiple iterations of removing the exchange calendar, stopping Calendar, deleting cache, restarting Calendar, and then re-adding the Exchange calendar without success I killed the CalendarAgent process. The process was automatically restarted by launched and my calendars starting syncing again. Thanks for the tip.

$ pgrep CalendarAgent

28712

$ kill 28712

Thanks! It worked perfect!

I was desperate because there was some events in my iCal and others in my iphone Calendar.

Now is all back to normal.

Although, you should mention that the "library" folder sometimes is hidden, so you have to right click to open "Show view options", and check the box "Show library folder"

I also have this issue. Deleting the cache files does not work in my case. Removing the account and installing again does not work either. I have now updated to El Capitan but it does not solve the problem. I am having issues as well with the iPhone (not the iPad though). In another discussion (Calendar - Exchange sync issue) it was suggested to change the timezone, but that does not work as well. Solution, move to Busycal or Outlook for the time being

I was told by Apple Cares to delete the cache, but we couldn't find it. Where is the calendar cache? What happens with me is that the date doesn't change on the calendar icon on the dock - I have a new Macbook Air, running El Capitan (if info says different it's because I haven't updated it). I went to time and date in upper right hand and the date says yesterday. Does anyone know how I can find the calendar cache?

When I actually open the calendar, the correct date is circled, so that's not a problem.
