Pink front camera

Pink front camera

I have recently come into possession of a 4s and while the screen looks fantastic, as does the rear camera, the front camera is very saturated, very pink and very pixelated. I have done a reset and also a software restore (Don't worry I backed up first). There are times when the camera almost looks normal as it flicks through certain lighting situations but generally its pink. I have attached a picture to show everyone. If you could give me some further ideas then they would be greatly received. Thanks

It looks like the front-facing camera on your iPhone 4s appears saturated, pink, and pixelated.

Resetting the device and restoring iOS were good steps, and if you didn't already restore and set up the device as new, I'd recommend that next:

How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups - Apple Support

If you set the iPhone up as a new device and this behavior only occurs with the front camera, the iPhone may need service, as mentioned here:

Get help with the camera on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping (camera swap icon). If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.

Thanks for getting back to me. Looks like I might need to get a service done as this has been since doing a full reset and restore. 😟
