Hauppauge HD PVR 2 & HDPVRCapture

Does anyone have experience using a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 with HDPVRCapture for the MAC?

Here's my question...

I have 'user switching' enabled on the MAC. If I setup HDPVRCapture to record a TV show at a particular time, and then switch to a different user, will HDPVRCapture still trigger the recording on the Hauppauge HD PVR 2 even though it's not the 'active' user?
