AAm unable to get audio after I upgraded my so to 8.1.3
iPad Air, iOS 8.1.3
Make sure iPad is not muted (little bell at the bottom).

Reset iPad if necessary.
Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.
TTried this, restarting. Doesn't help.
which is the small bell you refer to please?
also the support team of apple told me to check for an orange button on side, I do not see any orange indicator.

The mute icon is the little bell with the slash through it. Also check Do not Disturb (cresent moon). If you don't have the bell icon use the tiny side awitch next to the volume switch.
