attached pic of 20 tracks ineligible for iTunes match
all purchased by me form iTunes
they currently exist on iTunes store
some are from albums where the rest have been matched
none of them are too big ... or too small
what do i need to do?

What happens if you select the tracks, ctrl + click and select add to the cloud?
Are the tracks protected aac? If so, did you purchase them with your current Apple id? Can you play them?

iif I add it to iCloud it just does the same thing

i think they are protected ... tried to make MP3 files to see if I could fool it but it wouldn't let me
they were purchased via iTunes with an old email address ... possibly meaning an old id
but then so we're the other tracks on the album ... Joni Mitchell Blue for example ... rest of the album is fine those three tracks won't match

You could try burning the tracks to a CD then re importing them.

jjust need to find out if my external apple drive burns cd's
and if I have any still in the house ... it's been a while 🙂

There is an easier way, using Quick Convert, a shareware script obtainable from Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes:

Just convert the track and then control-click and choose to upload the converted version to iCloud.
I should add that if you are OK with an AAC version (which will be larger than an mp3), you can select the track to convert and choose File>Create New Version>Create AAC Version.
