Bootcamp No WiFi under Windows 10

Before finding the solution (not substantial solution, but you can cope with this issue), I have exactly same issue with the wifi on Bootcamp on Windows10.

• Mac Book Pro 2017 (Model No. A1706),touch-bar, MacOS10 (10.12.6)
• No problem with MacOS side, and other PC or smartphone
• Not only connection failures with specific network, but also with multiple wifi network

And Even after having followed others’ and Apple community's suggestion, such as

(1) Network trouble diagnosis and shooting using with WindowsOS standard function

(2) Uninstall and re-install “Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter”,

(3) Re-install the Bootcamp support software,

(4) Manual setting of DNS address (using such as 8.8.8.8, 8.8.8.4 offered by Google as public DNS address), both in Windows and Mac

(5) Switch-off Thunderbolt bridge network on MacOS side

(6) Change setting of IP6 to “Link local” in MacOS side.

(7) Slam MacBookPro to the floor and dispose dust box, and wait 2days until cooling down my anger with both Apple and Windows, and even with every IT gadget… Surprisingly my MacBookPro is unbroken! (But there is a dent on the floor)

However, I had not been able to change the situation.

At that time, I found that John wrote that this troublesome situation happens only when connecting an external monitor before connecting to the wifi router.

At first, frankly I have thought “That’s stupid comment!, why does the monitor connection affect the network driver problem!”. However there was no solution I could come up with more. In addition, in Japanese apple community site, other guy said that a certain USB-C port (the guy said one port of two USB-C, back on left side) of MacBookPro affects wi-fi connection with its electrical noise because USB-C and wifi antenna are very closely located in-side structure; they mutually electrically interfere).

I am totally not sure about the true reason. But just to cope with this trouble, I believe it worth to try it. By the way, when I connect the external monitor, I use the USB-C port on right side (using USB-C > D-sub adapter).

I hope what I wrote here lets many people cool down in the situation that you can not help slamming your lovely Mac to the floor even Mac is really robust.

Yes. Windows 10 has been released.

No, Apple has NOT released drivers for it yet.

Historically, it takes several months for them to do so after a new Windows release. Have patience.

Can you run setup.exe from your Bootcamp folder on the USB Installer and check if you see any Network Adapters?

I did have to download the Legacy & Win7 drivers to get it to connect as well.

But in my mac, there was not shown broadcom in network adapters. So what can I do?

Go to Device Manager -> View and enable Show Hidden Devices and check.

I can't find broadcam all I see is Ethernet

From the OS X side, look at System Report -> Network -> WiFi and post the details of the card you have. What is the year/model of your Mac?

I have same issue, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still didn't work.

What is the version of Sierra on your Mac? Are there any pending software updates on the OSX side? Is there a Wireless driver installed if you check Device Manager?

The sierra is the latest version. No pending updates on mac osx side. There is a wireless driver from Broadcom installed on the windows 10 side in device manager. I covered all of that.
