Since upgrading to iOS 8.1.3 I have had issues with my devices dropping wifi connectivity. They appear to wander off looking for other routers and then fail to re-connect to my own ( 4 ft away! )
Is anyone else having an issue? I have checked with my internet provider who cannot identify a problem from their end.

I have this same problem too - have ever since purchasing my iPhone 6. My iPhone 4S worked fine on the same wifi network using earlier operating system, but I have had nothing but trouble since upgrading hardware and operating system. Seems like a known Apple issue. Hopefully, someone at Apple will make this a priority and get it fixed.
My other hardware works just fine on our network (HP laptop).

IN one way I am glad you have a similar problem as me as it may cause Apple to investigate further. What I can say is that it is a software or may be a firmware issue not a problem with iPhone 6 as I have an issue with iPad 3, iPhones 4s & 5.
The previous response from Allen a did not reveal any further clues.
AAt the bottom of the main page click on View More until you find the post "IOS 8 wifi problems" . There you can join the thousands of others that have shared this same issue since last year with no resolve. Good luck.

A quick look at that thread shows a lot of irritated Apple users! I will sit back and watch the bun fight. May be Apple will fix it
I would try resetting the router, and also the iPad (by holding the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears).

I Have same problem with IpadAir2. Support tried many way including resets and two restores, one with back up and one with "as new", nothing worked.
yesterday I went into
settings/privacy/location services/system services and turned off wifi networks.
SO far it has not dropped out. Let's hope it lasts.
This is my last resort, if it fails I will be asking for refund and going back to Sony, as the product is not satisfactory.
I was having the same issue. iOS 8.1.3 I turned off Bluetooth and my wifi networks were visible and connected. Turned Bluetooth back on and it worked as well. We'll see....

Not quite the same as I am always able to see the networks and re-connect to the one I need. My problem is without moving location my WiFi drops out for no apparent reason and has to be manually re-connected.
