I do not need to download anything. I want to turn off a function that I never agreed to have on in the first place. I do not want my iPhone notifications coming through on my iMac.

I have the same issue. I followed the instructions to disable through FaceTime last night, and today I'm still receiving notifications and text messages on my iMac. This is a terribly intrusive feature when trying to sync audio to video footage. Please help me turn this off!
Reset the PRAM and then follow the directions above. If this does not work please follow the directions below.
