So the 6 is a beautiful phone with a beautiful screen and a great camera. I take a photo and go to look at it and...black bars on both the top and bottom of the screen. Why aren't my photos taking up the whole screen? It's frustrating.
iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3
Front cam all of them and full screen
i did not zoom the picture at all
i know how to zoom but m not talking about zooming here

Well, I don't have an iPhone 6, so I cannot test it. Are you holding the device in different orientations when taking these, or are they all portrait?
What happens when you double-tap in the middle of the image?
If it looks distorted when stretched, how come video records at 16:9 perfectly fine?

Not true. Facebooks camera takes up the whole screen.

Read my post below, again. The ONLY way a photo can take up the whole screen is either if it is distorted, or if it doesn't use the whole sensor, which reduces the resolution.
