Song titles turned into numbers

At the top of my iTunes Library are songs listed as they should be. At the bottom of my iTunes Library, however, are a large number of song titles that have been changed to very long numbers. Some of the numbers are negative numbers. The duration of the song is displayed, but no other information shows. I can play the songs by clicking on them. The Get Info option displays no information other than the long number. Can anyone tell me how to correct this situation?

I'm using MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite.

Thanks

I had the same issue with all my songs turning into numbers. I thought I would delete the albums most affected, and then redownload.

Well now the albums are lost. I go into iTunes, and it displays the album in the store as "Purchased" but no "Cloud download" icon to redownload it.

I went to an Apple store and the technician blew it off as "not ever having seen that before". She said to reconnect to my computer with iTunes on it.

I connected to iTunes last night and it will display the album, but will not play it on the computer. It will not allow me to drag it to my "iPhone" to redownload it to my phone.
