If I am curious to have my EtreCheck Double Checked by an Apple Support Community expert, do I post a brand new Thread or continue along the lines of a Thread that has a similar Title?

Since this Thread says "Solved", I am inclined to start a new Thread.


Background:

I inherited a work computer that was full of junk software, some useful software for past applications (Windows Parallels, Xcode, and some small Syncing Apps like Fitbit), and... a chock-full Trash. After setting up TimeMachine & emptying the trash of some 200+ GB, I noted dramatic improvements in speed and fewer OS crashes. However, it seems I can continue to improve the functionality of the Macbook as I read through the Forums and follow one or two ASC members that I am "in-tune" with, especially since a crash still happens 1 or 2 times per week.


Now I would like advice for these two steps:

1) Optimize current setup (I have a new Etrecheck after my latest changes)

2) move Google Drive Docs to Cloud Drive, seeking to mitigate use of Google Products

3) continue to learn preventative OSX and iOS use


If these are not your topics of interest, or if I should move or restart a new thread, will you please aid me in finding my place in this ASC world?
