Keynote ask the last update, but I have this version, the number 6.5.2. Help me, please
Keynote version 6.5.2 should open all previous versions.
Open the file by right clicking, select; Open With then select Keynote 6.5.2
What exactly happens when you try to open the file?
I'm having the same issue - OS is up to date and checked thatI have 6.5.2.
When I right click on 'open with' it just says 'Keynote (default)'
Do I need to re-install Keynote?

Exactly how did you solve your issue?
The latest Keynote will not open Keynote 1 files. You have to keep Keynote '09 around to open and save those to '09 format, and then open those files in the latest Keynote.
I have updated the latest version of keynote, and I could not open my old presentations. Can you help me please?
