anybody know how to give the computer permission to delete photos off the iphone 6? I loaded all the pictures on to my folder and now I just want to highlight the pictures on the iphone using the computer and press delete and I keep getting cannot delete do not have permission to delete this item

I handle my iPhone photos exactly the same way as you do and I just had this same issue and figured it out. If you go to "Settings" "iCloud" "Photos" and then disable "iCloud Photo Album (Beta)" it should let you bulk delete the pictures from your phone. You may have to unplug and plug back in. This fixed it for me and hopefully it is the cause for you, too, so you can disable it and have your bulk delete functionality back.
I've read a lot of advice for how to delete photos from an iPhone, but this is the only one that worked. Thanks for sharing this tip.
It's also the one that Apple suggests in its tech note on the subject.
