Free app download

Hi,

Whenever I want to download a free app, i.e. gmail, twitter etc., it keeps on prompting me that verification is required and ask for payment. It's a free app and why payment is required?

You need an apple id, IT will still be free

He has to have an Apple ID to post here, he obviously has one.

Choose the None option.

If you aren't offered the None option, then you need to supply a credit card or redeem an iTunes Gift Card.
