After uploading pictures to iphoto, a lot of the pictures turned black or are half there. Not only did it mess the pictures up that I was uploading, but it also messed up pictures I had on iphoto for a while. Is there a way to restore any of the photos?
MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
Importing Raws of Jpegs?
They are raw images.

It details how to restore an older version of the Raw support. I know ti refers to Aperture, but it works for both.
i did what the other thread said and nothing changed. Here is an example of what some of the pictures in iphoto look like.
However all of them do not look like this. It seems to be randomly ever so often. Any more ideas?
Have you tried the Photos ➙ Reprocess RAW menu option on those photos?
How do you do that?
Select the thumbnail of the problem image, go to the Photos menu and select the Reprocess RAW option.
