Create a new Theme with Blank as the default slide?

Create a new Theme with Blank as the default slide?

I'm trying to create a slideshow from a batch of files and I will insert a few 'text' slides after importing all the images. I can so that but all slides have the Text & Bullets style. Yes, I know how to change their style but how do I set a new default?

I know how to create a new Theme but when I use it the 'default' new slide style is still "Text & Bullets".

Make that "Title & Subtitle", not "Text & Bullets". Still asking; How do I change it?

view > edit slide master

delete all the slide masters except the master you want to use

File > Save Theme and add to theme chooser

select the default theme when opening Keynote: Keynote preferences > General > For new documents; select use theme > change theme
