I am trying to select multiple photos in iCloud without having to click on each photo individually. Is there a way to do so?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If you need to select multiple items on iCloud.com then you can use the common procedure to select multiple items by either holding Command or Shift on your keyboard.
To select multiple files or folders, hold down the Command (⌘) key, then click the items.
To select multiple files or folders that are listed together, click the first item you want to select, hold down the Shift key, then click the last item.

This is not a useful answer. I am not going out and buying a Mac (more useless Apple ****).
Nope. It doesn't.
I'm going to loose 4,000 pics in a month because Apple thinks a select all function isn't important. I'm so ****** right now.
doesnt help if you want to download everything from iCloud
One reason to remove this function would be to encourage people to just leave their photos in iCloud by buying more storage.

Uh, that function does not work with icloud. The shift button is not even remotely available to select multiple photos. This is ridiculous.
Have you tried click and drag?
shift used to work....not sure what happened.
I think this settled the question about the usefulness of Icloud as an (in)convenient storage. It is indeed very uncomfortable not to have the ability to delete pics in bulk on the web application.
Usually mine get downloaded in download folder. May be there is a setting to direct the downloads in another folder.

Apple obviously removed function because they want you to keep photos on iCloud/pay for storage. V annoying.

Apple should be utterly embarrassed that the multi-select functionality doesn't exist in iCloud. It's either that, or this is their tactic to sell iCloud storage space. Either way, it's a joke.
If your on a browser at icloud.com: Hold Down "Command" while you click each picture to be deleted. Then click delete. Go to recently deleted, click "delete all"
