CONSOLE TEXT: Could someone PLEASE help me?

Hi all, I've had this problem for a long time where my MacMini becomes unresponsive and a spinning beachball appears. When the spinning beachballs appear I'm forced to wait until they go away but they return after a few minutes.

I tried re-installing Yosemite and that didn't do anything, but I DIDN'T erase the Mac's HDD.

I hope someone can help me!

Do you know if there's a way if I can check if the issue causing my spinning beachballs has been resolved?

All you can do is observe. As I speculated earlier, when your computer experiences a software crash, then it becomes mostly unusable until the OS has had a chance to capture a crash report and then write the log out to your hard drive. That's when I mostly see the beachball and know to check and see what crashed. Since you were having all those "ufsd_NTFS.util_yyyy-mm-dd-nnnnnn_[redacted].crash" entries, I figured at least some of your delays were caused by those.

MadMacs0, I really appreciate your help and sticking with me in this long thread.

I was just using my Mac Mini when the spinning beachball returned so I did another EtreCheck a couple minutes ago:

It's bedtime here, so I can't spend any more time on it today. Still looks like a crashing problem to me, but now it's not limited to NTFS. I don't see how you can be having so many crashes from so many different apps, that's just not normal. It's time for somebody to start looking at those diagnostics, starting with the Kernel panic on the 18th. Dashboard could be a widget. Were you using TeamViewer on the 18th? garcon is a Google Chrome process and now Firefox. I don't see how all those apps could be problematic. It has to be something else and that would normally mean your OS, but I already know what you think about that.

This isn't really my area of expertise. I'm a malware guy, specifically watch for questions on ClamXav so I'm not sure how I got here originally. Normally a problem like yours would have attracted several troubleshooters that are better about this stuff than I am. My guess would be that your Subject wasn't descriptive of your problem, so those folks never showed up. Perhaps it's time to start a new discussion with a detailed summary of what you are experiencing, and the steps you have taken to date. Maybe post the Kernel Panic to start with.
