I am syncing my ipod nano 7th generation and it shows the music has transferred but once I disconnect there is no music on the ipod. It then forces me to restore the ipod to factory settings when I connect back to the computer. Please help.

I found some info. on the Apple website and it worked. 🙂 Try this link and go to # 5 and 6.
However, if you have a new computer and you have your own CD's in ITunes, it will take them off unless they are copied to the new computer. You'll need to copy them to the new one.
I can sync iPhone 5 with no problem, iPad 2 with some problem, and 7th gen Nano requires restarts, etc and is not successful.
I removed every vestige of apple software from my Win 7 PC and reinstalled iTunes 12.1.1.4 No help. Hours wasted.
If i wanted performance like this I would have stuck with microsoft MP3 players.
