I have safari crash report that says to call 1-888-652-4757 What do I do?

Do not call the number.

Force quit Safari, then restart Safari while holding the shift key.

Do NOT call.

You have malware on your browser due to where you have visited.

There are at least two schools of thought expressed by experienced users here in this Apple community regarding malware and popups.

One school primarily uses free application(s); the second school requires no additional software and just some simple steps on your part.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed you were on the iPad. Yes, clear website data and history. You may need to quit Safari by double tapping the Home button, then swipe upwards on the App preview.

You are quite welcome. There appear to be more and more of these annoying popup ads. The key thing to remember is to not call any number presented.

UNfortuntunately, I did call the number. I was put on hold for several minutes, when I felt something was wrong and then hung up. I seem to have cleared problem by deleting Google and then reloading it.

What if you're unable to clear the browsing history because of the pop up. Hitting ok does nothing it just keeps popping up.

You may need to quit Safari by double tapping the Home button, then swipe upwards on the App preview.
