How to downgrade Nano firmware?

Ok, I have said this before, firmware version 1.2 for the nano on Windows ***** bad. It totally messes up the nano.

How can I downgrade to 1.1?

I click "restore factory settings" in Itunes7 and it only reverts to 1.2!

I go to my old Ipod updaters and it says not function, use Itunes to change firmware!

I feel like choking somebody!
