Certain apps are working fine on my phone (texting, Google, Facebook) while others are saying I have no connection (Gmail, Instagram, Trivia Crack, multiple others). I'm not using wifi and my phone says I have 5 bars and LTE
I have this same issue, and mine is only on Trivia Crack! I had recently upgraded my phone to an iPhone 7 and it is the only app that is not functioning correctly. Did you do the restore and did it solve your issues? I had to upgrade in a hurry and it's taken weeks to re-set everything back to normal. I really, really, really do not want to do a factory restore!!!! Please advise smiley2563!!
In Settings > Cellular are you permitting the Apps that don't work to use Cellular Data? If not, they won't work without WiFi.
Yes, this just started happening out of the blue. I haven't changed or adjusted any settings.
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds). No data will be lost.

Then try restoring your iPhone to Factory settings.
