How do I put my pictures from my iPad on my computer?

I Used to do it all the time but I seemed to have forgot.. I don't know how to make a folder for the pictures. Before I could plug my iPad in to my PC and then something that says "import photos" would pop up, and I click it and when it's done, it ask me to name the folder. when I do it now, it doesn't ask me to put my pictures on a folder. How do I do it?
