Just open Logic Pro 9 - done.

Logic Pro 9 and Logic Pro X are two independent apps that can run even at the same time

Unless the OP means a Logic X document to a Logic 9 document………… guessing, of course.

You are right. Opening a LPX document in LP9 would not work.

Downward compatibility with documents rarely works with any application.
