My IPAD AIR2, w/WIFI and w/o cellular, went black and will not restart even after charging over night. Is it dead dead and if not how do I start it? I purchased it on Dec. 18, 2014.

How have you tried to get it to boot up ? If you haven't already done so then try a soft-reset (i.e. a reboot) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo will hopefully appear and it will boot up.

Okay, your Majesty I don't know what mojo you have but it worked?! I followed your suggestion to reply with a failure because I tried this a few times already and there was no way I wasn't doing it correctly! Well, I was not doing it correctly.
