Bluetooth issue on iPad mini with retina display?

I'm having an issue with the Bluetooth on my iPad mini with retina display. At first I noticed the problem when I first paired it with a Zaggs folio keyboard (I had already upgraded from iOS 7 to iOS 8 prior to connecting the keyboard). Whenever I would type with it or let it sit for a couple of seconds without touching it the display would glitch. Lines would show up on the screen and it would cause the display to glitch and move in odd directions. I thought maybe it was the keyboard causing the problem so I tried a completely different keyboard of a different brand and it still did the same thing. I then noticed that if I even had the Bluetooth on without a keyboard paired to it the lines would still show up on the screen periodically. They weren't there permanently, they would just pop up and disappear. If I have the Bluetooth turned off I don't have a problem, I don't notice any lines on the screen or any glitching at all. However, as soon as I turn on the Bluetooth the problems start back up again soon after it's turned on. I've tried resetting all of the settings and the problem still persists. Is there a way to fix this problem? Does anyone else have this same issue? I've done a lot of searching and so far haven't found anything even remotely related to the problem I'm having. I guess I just want to know if I bought a faulty iPad.

Hi zrmcallister,

If you are having issues with your iPad having video issues when Bluetooth is turned on, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.

First, quit all running applications and test again -

Force an app to close in iOS

Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -

Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

If your issue persist at that point, it would indicate a hardware isse needing service. The following link would help you get started with the process and has links with additional information on topics such as warranty and service pricing.
