The passbook app all of the sudden just disappeared from the home screen of my iPhone 6. I tried a reset and everything I could think of and it does not appear on the home screen. If I search for the app it appears and all of the info is there, however, I can't install it on the home screen.

More than likely it has been moved to another screen. You can have more than one home screen. It could also have been moved to a folder. If you do a search on the device for Passbook, you say that it appears. If it is in a folder, the folder name will appear near it. If you cannot find it that way, then go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. It should bring it back. It is a native iOS app and cannot be deleted.
Make sure its not in a folder somewhere. Spotlight should tell you wich folder its in in its results. On the far right side of the result row.
You can try to Reset the Home Screen Layout, though this will destroy any folders you may have created.
Settings->General->Reset->Reset Home Screen Layout
