Will Apple ever update beyond version 5.1.7?

Hello, longtime Safari for Windows user first time poster.

By now we're all probably wondering if/when Apple will release a version of Safari for Windows newer than 5.1.7.

Are there any plans to do so?

*kicks engineers in the butt

There, that should get you all going.

Now, when will Safari get updated? Getting way too many crashes and WebKit2WebProcess.exe errors.

I'm not wondering. It's been dead for almost 3 years now. Most have probably gotten the hint by now. Time to move on...

I believe that Apple's comment at the time they dropped support for Safari on Windows, was something to the effect that it was not worth their effort to support Safari on Windows for that small number of users. So I think Templeton Peck hit the nail on the head when he said it is time to move on...
