What about my photos? My family will have access to my private photos?

I've been reading and learning about iCloud family sharing and its very interesting. But I have an important question; my family will have access to all of my photos, videos that are private?

iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.3

When using Family Sharing photos are shared by putting them into a shared family album. See this article for a full description -
