Jul 31, 2016 10:55 PM in response to jbartkovskyby Seth from SF,I also have this same problem with the same card (Sears MC issued by Citibank). When I called the representative didn't even understand what I was talking about. They thought I was calling about a charge to my card from iTunes. They had NO CLUE about adding cards to Apple Wallet/Pay. Doesn't anyone train their staff anymore?

Apple Pay can be used with supported cards from participating issuers.
The Citi Sears cards is an example of a card that is not currently supported for Apple Pay, even though the issuer is a participating bank:
- "Citi professional and business credit cards and Citi Retail Services Credit cards, such as Sears, Macy's, Home Depot and Best Buy credit cards, are not supported at this time."
- From: https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/creditcards/citi.action?ID=citi-apple-pay
Apple publishes a list of participating issuers for Canada and the US here (lists for other region can also be accessed via this link):
Whether or not any specific card is a supported card is a matter for each issuer to decide and advise.
