Participating bank card BUT NOT supported?

What should I do if my card that is supposedly supported by Apple Pay like my Citi (Co-branded) Sears MasterCard gives me the message that "Your Issuer Does Not Yet Offer Support for This Card" when I try to add my card to my passbook?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3

Apple Pay can be used with supported cards from participating issuers.


The Citi Sears cards is an example of a card that is not currently supported for Apple Pay, even though the issuer is a participating bank:

Whether or not any specific card is a supported card is a matter for each issuer to decide and advise.
