Macbook Pro help

I unplugged my macbook pro from being fully charged, I opened up youtube, than plugged in my phone to sync. My laptop did not show that an iPhone was plugged in, so I waited than unplugged my phone, than as I wen to plug in my phone. The entire screen went black, and will not turn on. My Macbook is less than a year old, and I am very upset and not sure what to do. Can anyone help?
