A1549 support LTE in India

It's like Airtel in NCR has 1800 MHz FDD. So, that's why I was getting 4G in Delhi. 🙂

Hey, please take a look at this website --> http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/#iphone-6s-iphone-6s-plus From my understanding yours is a global iPhone 6S and it should work everywhere in India as it supports 2300 TDD and 1800 FDD

So if it doesn't work, please get in touch with Airtel. AFAIK, it will work! Good Luck. Those guys generally enable after you pay your 1st month bill.

The two models I'll test are A1549 and A1688.

I still have to add the new 4g sim from Airtel into the Iphone 6 model a1549

Do you think 3g or 4g or both will work for this a1549 model? Thanks again!

Yes, 3G and 4G both should work on A1549 model. I will be testing my 4G in Delhi this weekend. I am sure it would work. I have used it once with Airtel.

As of now on A1549 model I am able to use 4G in Hyderabad. However in Bangalore I am not able to use 4G with this model as Bangalore has a 2300Mhz band. As far as I know HYD has a 1800 MHz FDD band, which is why it works here.

So I added a 4g sim airtel to iPhone 6 a1549 model

it seems to get 4g in Delhi! Any feedback from Shreyas?

Yo, mine also works. Sorry i was a tiny bit busy with things which is why couldn't confirm earlier.. It works amazingly on iPhone 6 too

So for now A1549 has 4G LTE in following places

1. Hyderabad

2. New Delhi

So both iPhones a1549 and a1688 work with airtel 4g in Delhi

I am happy the risk paid off!

So I got another iphone 5s a1533 model. I think this may also work with Airtel 4g in Delhi. Can you please confirm this? Thanks!
